Vedic Astrology And LGBTQ Couples

According to Indian astrology, there is a gender difference in the Navagraha, the planets are also divided on the basis of gender

In the sacred wisdom of the Vedas, this material plane is unveiled as a wondrous mirror reflecting an infinitely enchanting, flawless, and timeless spiritual realm, brimming with an abundance of diversity surpassing the limits of human imagination. One form of Lord Shiva is Ardhanarishvara, one form of Lord Vishnu is also with Mohini, In the Mahabharata, Lord Shri Krishna transformed into a woman named Mohini and married one night to Iravan. In the Mahabharata, one form of Arjuna is Brihannala, during the time of exile, Arjun used to dress like women and teach the dance to Uttara, Shikhandi gender change in the Mahabharata is probably an example of reassignment. In Konark Sun Temple, statues depicting homosexual relationships can also be seen. Impotence, homosexuality is an issue that has existed since the early period of human civilization. Let's understand this mystery from the eyes of Indian Vedic astrologers

The gender of the king of the planets, Sun is male. The Moon is called the queen of planets and is considered a female. Commander Mars is the male planet. Devguru Jupiter is considered a male. Daityaguru Venus has also given the title of a woman. The prince of the planets Mercury is male impotent. Saturn has also been called female impotent and the shadow planet Rahu is male.

Mercury leans towards homosexuality, the reason behind this logic is that Mercury is called a child planet and teen are not fit for sexual intercourse. Saturn has a low libido due to physical deformity, Saturn is considered older, they are considered as opposite of sexual intercourse and reproduction. Ketu (south node of the moon) has been called impotent, Ketu have lack of desire for sex stems. Ketu is given the status of a monk planet, that's why he offers salvation away from indulgence. In the realm of astrological interpretation, gender associations are attributed to specific zodiac signs based on planetary influences. Aries, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are traditionally aligned with masculine characteristics, while Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, and Libra are often associated with feminine attributes. Meanwhile, Gemini, Capricorn, Sagittarius, and Pisces have been historically linked to a sense of duality or ambiguity. Furthermore, the seventh, eighth, and twelfth houses of the horoscope have been noted to have correlations with aspects pertaining to the realm of human sexuality.

Marriage is the most important sacrament of human life. Within Hindu culture, the enduring practice of horoscope matching for prospective brides and grooms has remained prevalent, maintaining its popularity even in contemporary times. Through this tradition, decisions are guided by the principles of mutual equality, companionship, and the intricate interplay between the birth planets and celestial constellations of the individuals involved.

But today, when individuals today seek guidance for same-sex partnerships, such as a man inquiring about his male partner or a woman seeking insight into her female partner, the scope of traditional practices falls short in addressing their unique queries. The current landscape of Vedic astrology lacks specific arrangements to accommodate the intricacies of same-sex marriages, often referred to as gay marriages.

Drawing from my personal experience, I have encountered a multitude of inquiries in recent years that challenge the boundaries of classical traditions, particularly when it comes to matters pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community. Since human nature has always been inherently curious, it is the responsibility of an astrologer to address these inquiries with utmost care and guidance. In such scenarios, it becomes crucial to consider the individual horoscopes of both partners, alongside their names and the bond they share. By examining their zodiac signs based on their names and birth dates, a glimpse into their compatibility can be offered, allowing for a deeper understanding of their unique connection. Through this inclusive approach, astrologers can strive to support and provide answers to the questions that arise from such genuine curiosity.

According to Vedic astrology, sexuality & homosexuality is mainly related to the Lagnesh(1st house), Panchamesh(5th house), Saptamesh(7th house), Ashtamesh(8th house) and Dwadash(12th house) house of horoscope. The role of Mercury is seen in the horoscope of gay people. Also, Venus and Ketu also have an influence on them, thus it is noted that gay people are proficient in various arts and sciences. Moreover, the Saptamesh(7th house) of the horoscope, Mars, and Venus signify the person's sexual desire, as well as the Dwadash Bhav(12th house) denotes that how much physical pleasure a person will get. Moon position reflects your mindset. Whereas Rahu and curved planets show how different two people are. Since Venus is also the planet of sexual desires, it increases sentimentality in the person due to its retrograde, and emotionality has its special significance in Same-sex marriage, also known as gay marriage.

I recall a profound book penned by the esteemed American author and relationship counselor, John Gray, titled "Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus." However, I find myself pondering about the origins of the rest of humanity. In my perspective, we all originate from the vast expanse of the universe, deserving of equitable treatment akin to that bestowed upon heterosexual couples. Although there may not be a prescribed method for aligning the horoscopes of same-sex couples, I have endeavored to administer justice by seeking avenues to address the enduring queries they have sought answers to for decades. In my belief, the universe imparts lessons of acceptance and reverence for all that it encompasses, never allowing discrimination to mar its essence. This wisdom echoes through the tales of ancient deities, reminding us that we, as ordinary humans, ought to embody nothing but our shared humanity.
