We all have childhood, school or college friends, but while moving ahead in life, sometimes they become distant and the relationship starts to weaken. While in the midst of increasing stress of life, we still remember our old days which we had with out friends. Let us know how we can fill our friendship with newness and enthusiasm.
Connect Without Reason
You don't need a reason to reconnect with old friends. Just pick up the phone and call, video call, message and talk about the golden days spent with them. Chat and fix a time to meet. If you live in different cities, you can just plan a friends trip. By adopting all these methods, spending the same time again, you can refresh yourself once again.
Little Talks
When meeting friends from school and college again, keep your first conversation short and funny. Give your friend time to speak about himself as well. Ask them about their life and wellbeing, and fix another time to meet again.
Emphasise Old Memories
After having career, marriage, family and children, there is definitely some change in every person. It is possible that on meeting an old friend, you may feel something different in them. In such a situation, instead of getting disappointed, emphasise on the old memories and try to refresh them again. Maybe your friend just needs some time.
Be A Good Listener
If you invite an old friend over and end up talking about yourself the whole time, your friend might feel a little offended. Give your friend some time during the meeting and be a good listener. The new beginning of the old friendship should be from both the sides. Let them share whatever they want to share with you.
