Some Holi colours contain dangerous chemicals such as endotoxin and heavy metals such as lead, which potentially cause moderate to severe health problems

The festival of colours is celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. As we say colours, they were made using extracts of flowers in the earlier times, but in the last few years, colours are being made using chemicals which cause a lot of harm to the body, especially the skin. Some Holi colours contain dangerous chemicals such as endotoxin and heavy metals such as lead, which potentially cause moderate to severe health problems. These chemicals present in it can cause many diseases on the skin. In such a situation, try to use only gulal, sandalwood or herbal colors while celebrating the festival. If someone already has a problem with the skin, they should not apply any kind of colour on the face because this may increase the existing problem.

The colour chemicals may cause skin rashes, allergies, dry skin, itchy skin, acnes, etc.
