‘The 3rd edition of the International Arogya 2024’, organized by The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), in association with the Ministry of Ayush and supported by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Ayushexcil, concluded successfully after four days of insightful discussions, workshops, and exhibition at the Avadh Shilpgram, Lucknow. The event, held from February 22nd to February 25th, gathered over 80+ speakers and participants from 60+ countries, facilitating discussions and knowledge exchange to shape the future of Ayush in global healthcare. With 250+ foreign buyers and 100+ Indian exhibitors, it explored sector challenges, fostered global collaborations, and promoted traditional medicine governance. Multiple public lectures by Ayush doctors and thematic conference sessions enriched the event, which also hosted over 6000+ B2B meetings, significantly advancing the Ayush sector.

The inaugural day set the tone for the conference with esteemed dignitaries, including – Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ayush and Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Government of India, Dr. Munjapara Mahendrabhai, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Ayush and Women and Child Development, Government of India, Shri Dayashanker Mishra, Minister of State, Ayush, Food Security and Drug Administration, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Pratibha Shukla, Member of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Hon’ble Minister for Mahila Kalyan, Bal Vikas and Pushtahar, Government of Uttar Pradesh, highlighting India's growing prominence in promoting traditional systems of medicine on the global stage. Various sessions were dedicated to Ayush nutrition and regulatory harmonization, followed by a CEO's Roundtable discussion that delved into the challenges and opportunities within the Ayush sector. The event also featured the release of the report "IndieExport" and the book titled "Ayush Works," further enriching the discussions and insights shared during the international conference.

The second day witnessed a workshop and various insightful sessions on navigating the complex regulatory landscape for exporting Ayush products to international markets, emphasizing the importance of compliance with US FDA regulations and global standards. The discussions also delved into the role of Ayush systems in promoting global health, standardizing Ayush products and services for international markets, and synergizing Ayush with modern pharmaceutical practices to address lifestyle disorders.

The event also covered B2B meetings, exhibition, and industry showcases, providing a platform for networking, collaborations, and exploring business opportunities in the Ayush sector. Providing an opportunity to engage with industry leaders, startups, and exhibitors, gaining insights into the latest innovations, products, and services in the Ayush sector.

Furthermore, the exhibition focused on various activities aimed at engaging and educating the public about the benefits of Ayush practices benefits. Free health check-ups, consultations, counselling by specialists and yoga demonstrations, attracted participants from diverse backgrounds to experience Ayush's holistic healthcare approach. The bustling exhibition featured a wide range of Ayush products and services, including exhibits from Multani Pharmaceuticals Limited, Dabur, Sri Sri Tattva, AIMIL, and JIVA Ayurveda. Attendees explored these offerings, fostering networking, learning, and international collaborations in the Ayush sector, highlighting its diverse and innovative offerings, from traditional medicines to wellness therapies.

The International Arogya 2024 conference concluded with a sense of optimism and determination to propel the Ayush sector to new heights. The event served as a stage for forging global partnerships, driving innovation, and promoting Ayush as a holistic healthcare solution for the world. As India emerges as a global leader in traditional medicine, the conference laid the groundwork for a collaborative and sustainable future for Ayush, contributing to the well-being of individuals and communities worldwide.
