Srividhya Deshpande - HR Director, Spring ML Inc

Srividhya Deshpande is an Engineer who chose Human Resources Management as her profession. She has been a working mother for the last 16 years. Her family would mostly find her with a laptop or handling escalation calls. Years drifted by, her toddlers became teenagers.

Pandemic set in. While Covid did not spare her, she says it was a blessing in disguise to get a mandatory self-quarantine time to think of wellness programs. It occurred to her that a lot of people would be sailing in the same boat as her.

As the Senior Director of HR, Srividhya implemented many well-being programs at her workplace. Many people had given her great feedback about the programs that were launched.

She aims to set an exemplary organization where Mental Health is a priority. According to her, "well-being" means staying physically, socially, and emotionally balanced. She wants to raise awareness while enabling everyone to benefit through various programs designed for employees and their families. She also wants to imbibe the best practices from all over the world, which is now possible, online. Her vision is to establish a high happiness index for employees at SpringML.

She wants to focus on nurturing employee well-being to develop workplace resilience. Srividhya quotes 'It is my passion meeting my profession', as she gets to spread more happiness and good vibes to the larger society!
