EvrCare launches Employees’ Family Wellness Programme to address growing concern of ElderCare

The Covid-19 pandemic has hit everyone tremendously but the most affected lot has been the elderly population, especially the ones who have been staying away from their children for various reasons

India’s leading AI-based hyperlocal support platform launched especially for the senior citizens, EvrCare, has announced the launch of its Employees’ Family Welfare Programme for corporates. The Covid-19 pandemic has hit everyone tremendously but the most affected lot has been the elderly population, especially the ones who have been staying away from their children for various reasons. A survey revealed that 86% of Indian children feel concerned about their parents’ wellbeing. With the launch of this programme, employees can now easily take care of the assistance, companionship and wellness needs of their parents remotely.

Companies like Paypal, IBM, Deloitte, American Express, already have similar programmes running which take care of the parents and in-laws of their employees.

The new programme is tailor-made to ensure overall well being of the parents with features such as counselling sessions, fitness exercises, yoga, weekly check-ins, doctor teleconsultation, nutritionists on call, home health checkup, and helpers at home. With its hyperlocal network and healthcare partners, EvrCare is able to provide a complete ecosystem for any kind of help needed for your family in all the major cities. Some of the leading partners that are onboard with EvrCare include Portea, 1MG, and Thyrocare.

One of the interesting things about the program is its flexible points-based system which is not the usual one size fits all plan. This allows companies to modify the plans according to their budget and the employees to use the points as per their needs.

How it works

●      Employees can be allotted points

●      All employees have dashboards with allotted points

●      Directly book services from the dashboard

●      Points deducted as services are used

●      Once points are over, they can still book services at a discounted rate from the dashboard

Talking about the launch, Mr. Sohail Khan, Cofounder and CEO, EvrCare said “Majority of employees in every company are people living away from their hometown and their parents. More often than not, taking care of them becomes difficult because of the distance. Given the times that we are living in, it becomes all the more important to have a reliable support system in place through which you can monitor your parents’ wellness and provide assistance as and when required. EvrCare, with its comprehensive ecosystem of services wants to help the working population have the peace of mind that their parents are taken care of ”

EvrCare's motto is to help senior citizens with anything, anywhere and anytime. While they provide support in any kinds of service requests possible, their services can be categorized into 4 areas - Assistance, Companionship & Social Experiences, Wellness and Healthcare.
