Are You Flexible With Your Diet ?

Why do most of the people fail with their weight loss? It’s easy to feel motivated and go on a strict diet to lose weight but everyone knows the end result, you gain almost all the weight you lost. Have you ever asked yourself why does this happen? I have seen people doing this over and over again for a number of years and at the end lose motivation to lose weight only.

A better way to lose weight is to follow the Flexible Dieting or the 80/20 rule which means to eat Nutrient-dense foods like sources of lean protein, veggies, nuts etc, and sticking to your workouts for 80% of the time and indulge in a cheat meal or your favourite food or drink once in a while or even everyday accounting for 20% of the time as this allows you to satisfy your desire by indulging in your favourite food and gives you satisfaction.

We all know that to lose fat we need to be in a calorie deficit but at the same time, it’s very important in terms of the source of those calories. Nutrient-dense foods seem like a lot of food and that food can last for a whole day plus it gives a lot of nutrients like Vitamins and minerals. Whereas Calorie Dense foods for e.g A cheese burst pizza is approx. 2000 calories plus there is hardly any nutrient in that food. You can eat that meal for a time and still feel hungry after some time causing calorie surplus which hinders your fat loss.

You can eat 1800 calories to lose fat by eating calorie-dense foods but without the nutrients, your body will feel weak, hormones will go for a toss, your skin will lose its glow and will lead to hair loss. Is there any point of having a weight loss like that. So now it’s your choice to lose weight with Nutrient dense food and enjoy your life or follow some foolish calorie-dense food diet and ruin your health.

If you plan your cheat in advance and treat yourself with a well-deserved cheat once you complete 80% of the desired work, this way it won’t even feel like a mistake!
